Emirates Neon completes another record breaking project of the Khalifa Stadium, Doha, Qatar

The Khalifa Stadium (part of The Sport City Project) in Doha, Qatar is getting ready for the 15th Asian Games Doha 2006 which seeks to accommodate about 60,000 spectators. The ambitions required extensions to the East and West wings of the Stadium.

The extension of the Khalifa Stadium is a huge project that involves the design, manufacture and installation of over 5500 different types of signs and graphics which are to be completed over a period of four (4) months.
 
'The new extension on the eastern and western wings of the Khalifa Stadium, which has already become one of the leading international venues for major sporting events, will assert Emirates Neon's top-ranking position and once again reiterate its regional reputation in the signage and advertising industry,' said Mr. Rehan Merchant, Executive Director, Emirates Neon.

'This is the second project undertaken by Emirates Neon in Qatar following the successful completion and commissioning of the Ritz Carlton, Doha project, which involved over 2,100 different types of signs,' said Mr. Rehan Merchant.
